Dj Drama has let everyone know that he and Drake are no longer beefing.
Fans were probably surprised when they heard Drake on the tracklist for Jack Harlow’s album, “Come Home The Kids Miss You.” Harlow is signed to Drama’s Generation Now label, but DJ cleared those who were puzzled by the Drake addition on Twitter after the album dropped on Friday, saying the beef between him and Drake had finally been laid to rest.
“We gotta stop this narrative lol,” Drama tweeted. “Me & Drake has been put that to rest. Grown men shit, and beyond that Jack & Drake cultivated they own relationship. Now erybody go stream that ‘Churchill Downs’!!”
The two’s beef dates goes back to 2015 when word got out that the Gangsta Grillz mixtape king was allegedly the one who told Meek Mill Drake hadn’t penned his own verse for the Philly lyricist’s 2015 single “R.I.C.O.”
The ghostwriting allegations about the Dreams Worth More Than Money cut turned into an infamous beef between the two rappers, which resulted in Drizzy penning his Grammy-nominated diss track “Back to Back.”
However, Drake and Meek have since squashed their issues too. But it seemed as if Drake and Drama’s camp had no interest in amending their relationship. And Drake appeared to take a shot at Drama on DJ Khaled’s 2016 single “For Free,” and when Drama sat down for a Drink Champs interview with N.O.R.Elast yead, he confirmed the OVO head did retaliate against him by having sexual relations with his girl, Hip Hop DX reported.
“We’ve had small talk — we’ve talked,” Drama said last year on the beef. ”We haven’t seen each other since the ‘tiff’ but we’ve been in communication lightly. At some point, I’m sure we’ll get the opportunity to sit down and really just build. I feel like he’s past that, and we’re past that. That’s where it’s at really.”
