Live Nation Urban and Summer Walker are teaming up for the first-ever A Hot Summer Night In LA during the BET Awards weekend.
The inaugural R&B concert will take place on June 24th, 2022, at the Crypto.com Arena, formerly known as the Staples Center. The “Girls Need Love” star will be joined by fellow women dominating music, such as Jazmine Sullivan, Ari Lennox, Joyce Wrice, Doechii, and Alex Vaughn. Rapper Saucy Santana will also bring down the house in a power-packed performance of his most popular singles.
Tickets went on sale Friday but are guaranteed to sell out.
Live Nation’s Urban division was eager to partner with the singer to help curate the star-studded line-up.
“Summer Walker is one of the most exciting artists in R&B. She’s elevated the genre to a whole new level, and we’ve partnered for an arena level event that speaks to her groundbreaking influence,” the company said in a statement.
A Hot Summer Night In LA is the latest R&B event presented by Live Nation Urban as they continue their collaborative efforts with today’s best vocalists. They teamed up with Mary J. Blige for a Mother’s Day Weekend series of musical events titled the Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit, from May 6-8th, 2022, in Atlanta, Georgia.
