Pusha T reveals that he is banned from Canada following his infamous 2018 concert in Toronto.
During the recent episode of ‘Drink Champs,’ Pusha shared some interesting news about his travel status. While speaking on his rivalries, Pusha mentioned he’s currently banned from Canada.
The ban came after his 2018 concert in Toronto during the midst of his beef with Drake. The comment came after N.O.R.E said he would want a collaboration with Drake if he were beefing with him. However, Pusha disagreed.
“I don’t want it,” the rapper said. “I’m cool without it.” Push was then asked if he was at peace, and he added, “I’m at peace. … I want nothing.”
N.O.R.E also questioned Pusha about his standpoint on patching things up with Drake and why he’s unwilling to.
“Because things that I don’t speak on and things I won’t speak on have happened since,” Pusha answered. “For me, it ain’t even about, you know. If it was just a rap thing and what is what it was, y’know, that was cool.”
Later he went into why he won’t be performing in Drake’s home country. “I’m banned from Canada,” he said. The subject was brought up again, but Pusha didn’t go give too many details. However, he did share that his manager was the person who informed him he was banned from the country.
N.O.R.E seemingly hints that Pusha “went too far” with his diss record.
“I don’t care,” Pusha said. “There is not too far! I don’t play like that, that’s why you don’t play with me… Leave me alone! Leave me be! Because there is no too far.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Pusha addressed Drake’s single with Jack Harlow, “Churchill Downs.” Many people believed the song was a diss track aimed at Pusha. Nevertheless, Pusha gave his opinions during an interview with The Breakfast Club, saying the song sounded “old.”He reiterated those same feelings while on Drink Champs.
“When I say old, it sounded old, just to me. The flows, the raps,” he said. “It wasn’t what it is that I think… four years later, after what I did.”
