Black-ish star Anthony Anderson is officially a Howard University graduate.
On Sunday, the actor announced that he received his bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts.
“To quote Biggie, ‘IT WAS ALL A DREAM!’” his post read. “Words can’t begin to describe the emotional roller coaster I’m on right now. It’s literally been 30 years in the making.”
He added: “Yesterday was a full-circle moment. It’s never too late!”
In addition to the post, he also thanked his son Nathan for inspiring him to get his degree, sharing images of himself alongside people like college dean Phylicia Rashad and commencement speaker Taraji P. Henson.
Previously Anderson revealed that he initially dropped out of college due to financial difficulties.
Anderson’s triumph comes weeks after he announced that the 8 season tv series, Black-ish was coming to an end.
