Football player turned rapper Antonio Brown has again made headlines by stating that racism in America doesn’t exist.
The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers star appeared on the @WeInMiamiPodcast, where he shared his thoughts on a variety of things, including his views on the discrimination of Black and Brown people in the country. He insinuated that people who claim to experience racism have a “mentality of being victimized.”
“There’s no racism. You can do what you want in America and the world,” 33-year-old explained. He also seemingly backed his ideology that discrimination cannot exist since he has made upwards of $100 million in football earnings throughout his career. Often outspoken host, @TheStuntLifestyle was left speechless by the comments, which seem to slightly disrupt the vibe in the room.
Takes such as these are not new, as Brown is known for making eyebrow-raising comments. Days ago, he blasted former player Colin Kaepernick for being “trash” and using his social justice stance to gain a profit from the NFL.
“You took the money, the commercials. We don’t see you outside. We don’t see him in the hood. He don’t do nothing,” Brown ranted during his appearance on the Cigar Talk Podcast.
Needless to say, these won’t be the last outlandish statements that Antonio Brown makes.
