The Phillips Royal Oak’s 50th auction broke four world records.

With 87 watches sold and 430 bidders in-person and 1,000 bidders online, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak auction in Geneva made history after it broke four world record prices.

The bids included the Royal Oak Ref. 5402ST A2, the second Royal Oak ever produced, Hypebeast reports. It’s also one of the four watches used to reveal the brand’s design at Baselworld in 1972, the news outlet reports. While the watch is no longer working, it’s conspired to be a “well-preserved” timepiece. It sold for a whopping $1,073,319 USD.

The next record was broken by Asprey-signed platinum perpetual calendar Ref. 25652PT, which sold for $1,036,511 USD, a record for the reference, Hypebeast reports. The last two records were broken by Royal Oak “Tuscan” Jubilée Ref. 14802P. It’s a limited edition platinum wristwatch with the blue Tuscan dial, a nod to the 20th anniversary of the model, reports Hypebeast.

Alexandre Ghotbi, Head of Watches, Continental Europe and Middle East, spoke on the records in a statement.

“Our first live sale of the year demonstrated the collectors’ hunger for rare top quality and never seen timepieces, especially those with provenance,” says Ghotbi. “With these results, the Royal Oak has clearly demonstrated its desirability on the market. This is a watch that created a new genre, and a new design language.”
