It’s only been a few days but Atlanta rapper Young Thug is apparently already having a hard time behind bars.

According to his attorney, Brian Steel, Thugga is being subjected to “dungeon-like” jail conditions that violate his Constitutional rights, notably, the Eighth Amendment, which is supposed to protect inmates from cruel and unusual punishment.

The “Super Slimey” co-creator’s attorney filed an emergency motion to move for his immediate release.

Steel claims his client remains in solitary confinement inside a “windowless cement compartment with only a bed and a toilet and an overhead light which remains on 24 hours per day.” And allegedly Thug has “no opportunity to exercise, shower or have human contact.”

The YSL leader was arrested at his Atlanta mansion on Monday for allegedly violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) statute.

His friend and rapper, Gunna, and 26 other associates were listed as defendants in the 88-page indictment, which claims gang-related crimes allegedly committed by YSL (Young Slime Life).

Following Thug’s arrest, he was hit with additional felony counts surrounding the Monday raid on his home.

The new charges are pretty serious, they include possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a sawed-off-shotgun, and three charges of unlawful participation in criminal gang activity while employed by/associated with a criminal street gang.
