Uber rolled out some new features Monday including travel options that will assist users in planning their upcoming trips and even book party buses and limo services.
Uber’s new Uber Travel feature will allow users to store upcoming flights, hotel stays, and restaurant reservations by linking their Gmail accounts to the app. With this information, Uber could then automatically book rides to and from each destination of the trip. Users who book with Uber Travel will get 10% back in Uber cash for each reserved ride.
The ridesharing platform also launched Uber Charter which allows users with large groups to conveniently book a party bus, coach bus, or limo directly through the app. The service is set to launch “across the US” later this summer.
Uber is also rolling out Uber Comfort Electric which gives riders the option to request electric vehicles, such as a Tesla or Polestar. This feature will be available Tuesday in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Dubai. It’s expected to expand to other markets soon.
The company is also expanding Uber Eats into stadiums, giving fans the ability to order from concession stands in advance and skip the lines when picking up their items. Uber Eats at Stadiums is available in California at Dodger Stadium and Angel Stadium; in New York at Yankee Stadium; in Washington, D.C. at Capital One Arena; in Houston at Minute Maid Park; in San Jose, California, at PayPal Park; and in Rennes, France, at Roazhon Park.
The ride-share app is also rolling out a voice ordering integration where Uber Eats can start orders with their Google Assistant. Uber is also introducing Uber vouchers that allow users to cover the cost of rides for event guests.
