Luke James shared touching words for Tank following a podcast interview with Drink Champs, where Tank shared that he believed in James and allowed him to move into his home. He admitted that “I had to fight to get my show back from Luke James overnight,” shared Tank after admitting that he allowed James to perform solo at his concerts despite being a background singer.
James took to Instagram to write, “When I call @therealtank my big brother; I don’t say it cause it’s simply cool to refer to a brilliant man I know as such. I say it because bro was & is really that for me. From day 1. IYKYK.”
He continued, “Tank, i am eternally grateful to you. you pushed me to be where i am and how i am today. always connected to the divine. never sing without a reason. never not growing. always a student.”
