Kanye West’s 2020 presidential campaign organization says they were cheated out of thousands of dollars.
TMZ obtained the letter sent to the Federal Election Commission, which performed an investigation and discovered that someone accessed their account three times between December and February 2021.
According to the inquiry, the campaign attempted but failed to recover cash from the First Bank of Wyoming, where the funds were allegedly held.
Allegedly, $3,999 was stolen to pay off an anonymous individual’s credit card.
According to TMZ, the FEC was the first to notice the suspicious activities. As of now, no arrests have been made, and West’s former committee is working with the Federal Election Commission to obtain further information.
