Kanye West‘s fourth attorney has stepped down from his divorce case with Kim Kardashian.
On May 26, West’s lawyer Samantha Spector filed a motion to step down as counsel for West in his ongoing divorce case with his ex Kim Kardashian.
“There has been an irreconcilable breakdown in the attorney-client relationship,” Spector states in her motion, Entertainment Tonight reports. “Attorney has communicated with Ms. Hong, an attorney-at-law, who has confirmed she is acting on behalf of Ye and should receive all communications directed to him.”
Right now, the former couple are still battling it out in court over the custody of their children. ET reports that a source told the outlet West is looking to have a formal custody agreement arranged for himself and Kardashian for their four children. In the meantime, Kardashian says she wants to make things smooth between her and her ex as the divorce proceedings continue.
“As hard as it can be sometimes, I try to ignore it, and try to do whatever’s best for the kids,” said Kardashian during an appearance on Ellen this past March.
