Anthony Anderson has agreed to pay spousal support to his wife, Alvina Anderson.
According to court documents, Anderson signed on to pay spousal support to his estranged wife.
Following an assessment of their individual finances, the amount will be determined by their joint forensic accountant.
Alvina requests that the court “exercise its jurisdiction” and issue spousal support orders retroactive to March 1, 2022, “or the date of their separation, whichever is later.”
According to Anthony’s legal team, payments should not be made retroactively before June 1, 2022.
The couple has agreed to sell their home in Encino, California, and split the proceeds equally between them. The judge ordered Anthony to sign a 12-month lease with his wife “so that she may secure alternate housing.”
This is the second time that Alvina has filed for divorce. Anderson recently responded to the request stating they separated in February.
Anthony and Alvina met in high school and have been together for 30 years. The couple shares two children, Kyra, 26, and Nathan, 22.
