Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are officially married, though their wedding date met some drama!
Walking herself down the aisle to Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love,” the superstar and her trainer fiancé wed in an intimate wedding ceremony at her Los Angeles home. And the wedding was so private that her family didn’t make the cut. Her parents and sister, Jamie Lynn, were not invited. Instead, her closest friends were. Some celebrities attended include Madonna, Drew Barrymore, Paris, and Kathy Hilton.
Yahoo reports that her brother may have been the only family member invited, but her sons, with Kevin Federline, were not in attendance.
Federline’s attorney says Kevin and their sons are very happy for Britney.
And, of course, there was drama. When the wedding was being set up, her first ex-husband Jason Alexander stormed into the home to live stream. He was arrested.
Britney was very anxious to get married. A source said, “It’s a huge deal to her that she is finally able to get married. She wants it to be perfect. She is so excited that she feels overwhelmed. She is very emotional.”
The wedding comes a year after her conservatorship hearing in which she said she wasn’t allowed to marry Asghari or have children with him.
“It ended up being the happiest night for Britney. She wanted a fairytale wedding, and she got it. Britney looked stunning,” the source says.
“She is very excited to be married. She looks forward to a future with Sam.” The couple’s next step is baby-making, as the pair want children together.
