Another co-defendant in the YSL RICO case was just denied bond. Allegedly, Walter Murphy is the co-founder of YSL Records and will remain behind bars until trial next year, like rappers Young Thug and Gunna.
Murphy’s attorney, Jacoby Hudson, believes the case isn’t even about Murphy but about bringing down Young Thug. Unfortunately, Murphy’s past has not helped him. He was linked to attempted murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon from incidents in 2013 and 2015.
WSB-TV covered the video conference and showed Murphy getting frustrated and shaking his head once he learned his bond was denied.

Murphy’s attorney advocates for him, saying he’s a changed man. Murphy admitted he did his “time like a man” for the prior crimes he was convicted of.
Hudson says, “He’s changed, judge! He’s crying. He’s doing the right thing. The whole case is about Jeffery, Young Thug, Jeffery Lamar Williams. That’s who they want. My client don’t wanna talk about Jeffery Williams [Young Thug].”
According to WSB-TV, the prosecution is willing to cooperate with Murphy if he essentially gives insight and details on Young Thug regarding the RICO case. However, he has no interest in sharing any information.
