Rapper Lil Tjay was reportedly shot just after midnight in Edgewater, New Jersey.
The incident allegedly involved two shootings at The Promenade shopping center at around 12:05 a.m.—One victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds at the scene, which was outside of a Chipotle and the other victim was found at a nearby Exxon station with a single gunshot wound.
TMZ reports that Tjay, 21, is in emergency surgery, per local law enforcement sources.
The Edgewater Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office released brief statements seemingly about the shooting, though names were withheld. It was said that “further information” would be released shortly.
As of Wednesday morning, the suspect is reportedly still at large.
