Internet users are voicing their opinion after actress Kimberly Elise shared an Instagram post celebrating the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

“Millions of babies will be saved from death by abortion due to the overturning of Roe V. Wade. Hallelujah! #allglorybetoGod,” Elise wrote on Instagram Tuesday.

While many people noted Elise is entitled to her beliefs, other critics took to her comment section with ridicule, forcing the “Diary of a Mad Black Woman” star to turn off the comments. However, this didn’t stop people from taking to Twitter to share their thoughts.

The actress’ post comes days after the Supreme Court overturned the nearly 50-year-old ruling that protected abortion rights, now giving the power to limit access to reproductive health care.

I knew she was a pro lifer when Charles raggedy ass got shot and she told them doctors to keep him alive and she nursed him back to health🥴💀😒🤦🏾‍♀️

Y’all be quick to cancel celebrities that doesn’t share the same OPINIONS as the masses. Kimberly Elise is entitled to feel how she feels about abortions.

The lie = abortion bans will save babies, save lives

The truth = abortion bans will INCREASE unsafe abortions, DECREASE access to care, INCREASE DEATH!

Now who is going to tell Kimberly Elise?

Kimberly Elise is entitled to her fq'd up opinion.... but this has solidified her only acting in z list movies. Her and Kirk Cameron will be making the same Jesus movies...that only vacation Bible school watches for the rest of their lives

If your opinion perpetuates someone else's oppression, you're opinion can and should be critiqued. Kimberly Elise can be pro life by simply NOT ever getting an abortion. Celebrating that now all women don't have a fucking choice is simply not okay. This is an important nuance.

Maybe if yall didn't suffer from celebrity worship, yall wouldn't be so "devastated" that Kimberly Elise holds a different worldview from you.
