Rap Snacks has announced its newest flavor inspired by Nicki Minaj.
The potato chip brand is partnering up with the rapper to launch a new flavor. The Barbie-Que Honey Truffle potato chips are named after the nickname Nicki’s fans have given her, Barbie.
Nicki’s collaboration with the company isn’t too much of a surprise. Rap Snacks have previously described itself as an “innovative snack brand inspired by hip hop.” The black-owned company has collaborated with some hip-hop artists like Migos, Rick Ross, and Lil Baby for various foods and drinks.
“Nicki Minaj is unquestionably one of the most disruptive forces in the history of rap. You’re talking about a woman who rewrote the rules of hip hop culture and happened to be a phenomenal entrepreneur, as well,” Rap Snacks CEO James Lindsay said in a release. “It just makes sense that as a brand disrupting the snack industry, we align to push the bar even further. This is the beginning of a legendary partnership.”
