Chris Brown performs in the U.K for the first time in 12 years.
Despite his prior ban, Breezy took the stage this past weekend at the London-based Wireless Festival. In 2010, Brown was banned from the country after assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
It was reported that the rapper’s visa was refused after he tried to enter the country. The refusal was due to him committing a serious criminal offense.

The Home Office wrote at the time: “We reserve the right to refuse entry to the UK to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offense. Public safety is one of our primary concerns.”
However, the country must’ve had a change of heart. In May, the festival announced that Breezy was joining the star-studded lineup featuring Cardi B, SZA, Nicki Minaj, and others.
“You asked? We deliver… ALWAYS,” the festival wrote on an Instagram post. “For the first time in 12 years… @chrisbrownofficial will return to the UK to shut down Crystal Palace and Birmingham.”

Wireless Fest kicked off at Crystal Palace Park on Friday. The festival is taking place at Crystal Palace until July 3rd and will continue at Finsbury Park on July 8. The event will conclude at Birmingham’s Outdoor on Saturday, July 9.
