A judge overseeing YSL’s RICO case ordered defense attorneys not to share witness information.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge, Ural Glanville, issued the temporary order to defense attorneys. The order prohibits the defense from sharing contacts with their client, citing “numerous threats to kill or harm witnesses.”

Fulton County D.A. Office filed the motion this week due to a “history of intimidating witnesses.” One example the prosecutors mentioned was a plot to murder two Atlanta police officers. They also told the judge investigators had uncovered multiple threats against witnesses, including family members.

Nevertheless, defense attorney Brian Steel rejected the claims and denied any intimidation had taken place.

As previously reported, Young Thug, Gunna, and other YSL members were indicted in May on RICO charges. Prosecutors claim YSL is a subset of the Bloods street gang.

If convicted of a RICO charge, Thug could face up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
