Young Thug's Nephew Arrested After Police Say He Fatally Shot Girlfriend in the Face

Fardereen Deonta Grier

The nephew of Young Thug is sitting in jail after confessing to shooting his girlfriend in the face after an argument.

Fardereen Deonta Grier was arrested after police showed up at home and found Grier’s girlfriend, Destiny Fitzpatrick, shot in the face. Police got a call from nearby neighbors of a domestic dispute.

When officers attended the scene, the woman was lying near the door entrance, and Grier was crying inside the home. At first, Grier told police officials that he was warding off masked and armed intruders.

However, then he changed his story and fessed up to what really happened.

Grier was taken into custody and is currently being held at Cobb County Jail in Atlanta, coincidentally the same place his uncle Young Thug was last month as he awaited his hearing in his case.

Young Thug has his hands tied in his legal troubles as he awaits his trial for ” conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) and participating in criminal street gang activity.”
