Yo Gotti is responding and thanking the Memphis police department after stopping a possible threat at his annual birthday bash.
Every year, the rapper hosts his birthday bash at the FedExForum on Friday night.

Police stopped the armed suspect, Elijah Hyman, and his girlfriend. Hyman was distraught over their recent breakup and was willing to kill himself and anyone in his way.
The suspect’s right hand was cut, and police found several weapons inside his apartment.
Hyman was charged with the Commission of Act of Terrorism.
