Twitter Reacts to Comedy Duo Desus and Mero Break Up Rumors

Fans have been speculating for some time that the comedy duo Desus and Mero known for Desus vs. Mero series, the Viceland and Showtime talk shows Desus and Mero andBodega Boys podcast have broken up.  

 Apparently, a feud between the men has been brewing for a while, and more fuel to the break up rumors were add thanks so social media posts that began in June.

Things sparked when Desus tweeted in June, “bodegahive you think I abandoned y’all but the art is coming back. Plz believe in me, I love y’all.”

The tweet seemed to put to rest fans’ worry, but a a reddit post credited to Mero on the r/bodegaboys subreddit fueled more fire to the rumors.

“NAH IT’S A WRAP BRODY, SOMEBODY MENTIONED DUDE TWEETING THAT FROM SOME COUNTRY AT LIKE 3AM. I TOURED WITH DUDE FOR YEARS HE WAS FUBAR AND IN HIS BAG. PODCAST DONE ENJOY THE BACK CATALOG MY PALS,”user THE_KID_MERO wrote.

The comment insinuated that something was going on with the iconic duo.

In another reddit post from THE_KID_MERO, the account insinuated that Mero’s next will be  “LIKE SORBET ON THE HIVE PALATE.”

Last week, in a response to Desus’ June tweet a fan shared a screenshot of the “PODCAST DONE” reddit remark which Desus responded, “the hive deserved better than this ending. Reddit can slander my name but when the truth comes out…..actually just wait,” Desus said.

However, the pair was just spotted at the MLB celebrity game, though sources reported they barely talked to each other. And now Twitter has gotten involved, making the words “Desus and Mero” trend.
