Florida rapper Rollie Bands was shot and killed after challenging his opps to meet him at his apartment.
On Friday, Hillsborough County officers responded to a report of a man shot in the parking lot of IQ Apartments. The suspects fled before police arrived at the scene. Bands were later rushed to a local hospital but died from his injuries.
Investigators are currently looking into the incident and believe Bands knew the suspects.
Bands untimely death came just five minutes after he posted a video calling his enemies bluff. The rapper challenged his opponents to pull up on him at his house. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what led to Bands death.
“A lot of these n*ggas know where I live at fr. I sleep in peace. If a n*gga want smoke, I’m at my crib in 5 minutes.,” Bands said in his Instagram story.
The Hillsborough County police are asking for anyone with information on the shooting to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (813) 247-8200. An anonymous tip can also be made by calling Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay.
