Wiz Khalifa is offering a sincere apology to the DJ community after a viral video of him going off left a nasty taste in many DJs’ mouths.
He is finally breaking his silence on what really happened that night and sat down in an interview on The Breakfast Club with DJ Envy to get to the bottom of it.
Before telling his perspective, he said, “First of all, I want to apologize to all of the DJs in the entire DJ community for my behavior.”
Khalifa added that it was a “bit much.” He continued, “I didn’t want to piss anybody off.”
“I apologize to anybody I’ve offended … sincerely.”
The rapper was booked at club Poppy in WeHo and was supposed to promote his new album, “Multiverse.” However, the track list sent over by his team was butchered, and random songs were playing during his set, which led to him going off.
He went off on DJ Mike Danger and MC Tron, saying, “y’all suck.” Then he added they needed to play his new songs. It looks like everyone was able to be a good sport and put the drama behind them.
