Longtime actor and accused sexual predator Kevin Spacey has been ordered to pay the show production “House of Cards” millions.
The actor who was once being paid millions as the lead actor is now having to fork over millions after the show reportedly lost nearly $31 million after he was fired from the show for allegedly sexually harassing crew members in 2017.
A judge from Los Angeles Superior Court issued the fine to the actor and his production companies this past Thursday. CBS News reports the judge ruled in favor of MRC and other companies that produced “House of Cards.”
In the ruling, Judge Mel Red Recana said Spacey and his legal team failed to “demonstrate that this is even a close case” and “do not demonstrate that the damages award was so utterly irrational that it amounts to an arbitrary remaking of the parties’ contracts.”
Spacey continues to deny the allegations made against him.
