‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ actress Denise Dowse has passed away at 64.
On Saturday, Denise’s sister Tracey announced the passing of her younger sibling. In an Instagram Post, Tracey said Denise was “the most amazing sister, a consummate, illustrious actress, mentor and director. She was my very best friend and final family member.”
On August 7th, Tracey revealed Denise was hospitalized and in a coma caused by a “virulent form of meningitis.”
Denise was known for her amazing acting skills on the big screen. For ten years (1990-2000) Denise played a strict vice principal in the series ‘Beverly Hills, 90210.’ From 2001-2004, she appeared in 32 episodes of ‘The Guardian’ as Judge Damsen. In 2004, Denise starred in the film ‘Ray’ as Ray Charles’ manager Marlene André. In 2005, she was featured in the movie ‘Coach Carter’ as the principal of Richmond High School.
