A man in Pennsylvania has been charged for allegedly threatening to attack and kill federal law enforcement authorities after the FBI searched Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
“Every single piece of s*** who works for the FBI in any capacity, from the director down to the janitor who cleans their f****** toilets deserves to die. You’ve declared war on us and now it’s open season on YOU,” is one of the messages allegedly posted by Adam Bies on Aug. 10 after FBI officials searched Mar-a-Lago on Aug. 8.
The messages were sent through an online chat forum called Gab, which is home to numerous far-right extremist groups, CBS News reports.
On Aug. 11, Bies – who reportedly would go under the aliases Adam Kenneth Campbell and “@BlackFocus” – allegedly posted to the “Black Focus” account, saying, “I sincerely believe that if you work for the FBI, then you deserve to DIE.”
He went on to say through his “Black Focus” account that he’s “ready for the inevitable.” That same evening, Bies posted the same thing, saying, “My only goal is to kill more of them before I drop. I will not spend one second of my life in their custody.”
Bies has now been arrested and charged with using an online platform to post threats and offensive statements against law enforcement. In Bies’ charging documents, investigators wrote that Bies was “willing to commit violence towards law enforcement in support of his beliefs, even if that costs him his own life.”
