Khloe Kardashian has once again filed for divorce from Lamar Odom, the second time in three years. Khloe is citing, as she did before, irreconcilable differences as the cause of the divorce.
Khloe first filed for divorce from Lamar in December 2013. The couple just sat in limbo for years as the paperwork sat on the judge’s desk. Apparently they were trying to work it out while still dating other people. In October 2015, Lamar overdosed in a Nevada brothel. At that point Khloe asked the judge to cancel the divorce, so that she could make the proper medical decisions for Lamar. Weeks before the divorce was to be finalized, the judge agreed to dismiss. According to Khloe, it was never about getting back with Lamar. She just didn’t want to upset him while he was recovering. Khloe even moved Lamar nearby so that she could monitor him.
In March 2016, however, Khloe was at her wits end when she saw photos of Lamar at a bar posted on TMZ. So, it looks like the divorce is back on. There was a prenup and a property settlement the two worked out the first time, so now they have to wait the minimum six months California requires for the divorce to be finalized.
