A father in California is speaking out after a teacher called the police on his 4-year-old son because he didn’t have a mask on.
Since April of this year, masks have no longer been required indoors in the state of California. However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
strongly suggests masks be worn in indoor public settings, public transit, daycare centers and K-12 schools. And some school districts seem to have decided to keep a mask mandate.

One Mountain View, Ca. father, who was identified by his first name Shawn, is outraged and speaking out after his 4-year-old had the cops called on him over not wearing a mask.
“I knew my son would have trouble with this,” said Shawn during an appearance on Fox & Friends First” this past Monday. The school is in Santa Clara County.
The incident involving his son took place last Thursday. Fox News reports there’s video footage of school staff explaining to Shawn that the school district’s mask mandate has not changed and that he would be forced to leave if he insisted on not abiding by the policy.
“They’re acting as medical enforcement without a medical licensure. I’m completely outraged because I’m a paramedic by trade… I’m livid about this.” said Shawn, who has now taken up the guidance of his lawyer, Tracey Henderson. They both claim the district broke the law, Fox News reports.
There are currently 3.38 million COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles County. There are 438,000 in Santa Clara County,
