4PF-Affiliated Rapper Claims He’s Innocent After Being Arrested for Shooting Three-Year-Old in Atlanta

The 24-year-old man accused of opening fire on a car at a traffic light in Atlanta and wounding a toddler says he’s innocent.

Kentavious Wright, who reportedly raps under the moniker Dirty Tay, was arrested last Friday and charged with aggravated assault, attempted murder, cruelty to children, and gang-related charges after police say they believe he’s responsible for shooting 3-year-old Javon Jewell in the head.

According to authorities, the incident happened earlier this month while the child was leaving a barbershop with his father.

Atlanta Police Department said the 3-year-old was riding in a car with his dad when shots were fired into it on Aug. 3. Police say a car followed the father and son from the barbershop and then opened fire near an intersection. They’re calling the shooting “targeted.”

The child was hospitalized and is expected to recover. However, family members say a bullet had to be removed from his head.

Following the announcement of Wright’s arrest, the rapper took to his Instagram page to claim his innocence.

“I’m innocent the news not always right don’t bash me because of allegations,” a statement on his Instagram Story read.

Wright is reportedly affiliated with Lil Baby’s 4PF label.
