In an unlikely collab, we didn’t know we needed, MCM and Puma have come together for a capsule collection that merges the classic MCM monogram with a new athletic sneaker.
While MCM has teased three drops as part of the collection, the first will be a sleek sneaker known as Slipstream Lo. The white low-top sneaker features brown suede on the toe and the brown MCM leather monogram on the sides with a splash of yellow.
Dubbed the “Show Love” collection, the second offering in the capsule will arrive in October and is described as a black and white shoe featuring MCM’s Cubic Monogram. The final installment, a reimagined TRC Blaze Court, will make its grand entrance in early 2023. As of now, it appears that the entire line will contain only sneakers, though that has not yet been confirmed. However, beginning on September 8th, fans will have a chance to grab the first Slipstream Lo and view what else the collab has to offer on the MCM website. A visit to the online store allows consumers to sign up for email notifications the moment the line is unveiled and future MCM x Puma updates. The Slipstream Lo will be available on Puma’s website on September 10th.
Heiko Desens, Puma’s Global Creative Director, praised the second collaboration with the brand, calling it a “love affair between luxury and sport.”
