25 year old Dana Cody is the proud owner of Miami’s 3,000 sq ft Tippie Toes nail salon. It’s at the salon where she met her now husband. George (78), who came into Dana’s salon for a manicure/pedicure which Dana personally provided . As such, the two sparked up a conversation, at which Dana told him about the passing of her mother, and her desire to continue her legacy. George was inspired & intrigued. The two began dating and in August 2013 became engaged. If you watch RHONY, you witnessed the engagement as well.
George, a renowned CPA, tax & financial advisor to the rich and famous ; has used his networth of $50mil to help Dana start up several business. Dana and George partnered to create “Tippie Toes Beauty Lounge”salon in Woodland Hills/Calabasas ( Los Angeles). They’re currently working on their second LA location in Baldwin Hills , as well as San Francisco , Ca . Plus, a Tippie Toes Beauty Academy (official nail school) in Miami, NYC, LA, Atlanta, Paris & Dubai. Dana and George have also partnered to create a new press on nail line consisting of REAL diamonds embedded into 14ct gold! These lavish nails aren’t your regular drug store press on’s. The starting price is $5,000 for a set of 10 nails. This is only the tip of the iceberg for what the power couple have in store for the beauty world.
Due to the age, race & cultural differences, a few RHONY viewers speculate that Dana is only interested in George for the money. Not the case, Dana, who’s worked with the likes of Cassie, Lil Wayne, Tilda Swinton, Amanda Lapor, Diddy and more, has had a thriving business and career long before meeting her now husband.
George opened up to Radar Online about his wedding, and why he and Dana are not looking for showbiz fame. “Our wedding was purely born from love! We do not live our lives for showbiz – rather for each other,” the Housewives star told Radar while on his honeymoon. “I proposed marriage to Cody and she accepted, becoming engaged on RHONY, to share this special time in my life with my daughter Aviva, and to let people know that true love really exists.”
