If it wasn’t already clear, Stephen Curry is set for life. The Golden State Warriors basketball player is rumored to close a huge deal with the sports equipment company, Under Armour.

In probably one of the most significant sports contracts in history, Steph Curry could receive $1 billion from Under Armour.

The reportedly “nearly locked” deal will secure the future of the NBA superstar for a lifetime. The contract will run over $1 billion and be a lifetime endorsement deal. Though things are so close, Steph Curry hasn’t always had the best relationship with the brand.

In an interview for Rolling Stone, the recent graduate explained the details of the rocky relationship with CEO Kevin Plank. The drama was over his signature shoe.

“There wasn’t quite an understanding of what it took to run a business like that properly. So, yeah, I got mad.” However, that’s all in the past.

Curry’s current deal with the sports goods brand is set to expire in 2024. But all of that could change very soon.

In addition to the lifetime contract, Curry may have a new subsidiary brand with Under Armour, similar to Nike’s deal with Micahel Jordan and LeBron James.
