Cheez-It is paying homage to some of the most iconic reality stars with its new limited edition Reality TV Collector’s Cheddition boxes.
It’s no secret that while reality television is wildly entertaining, it can sometimes be cheesy. That’s why having TV royalty on the boxes is fitting. The original Cheez-It boxes feature “Drag Race” creator Ru-Paul and “Jersey Shore” OG Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. These two are the first TV personalities to grace the cover of this Cheez-It box collection, but they likely will not be the last.
“Introducing the OG of real cheese x OGs of Reality TV,” Cheez-It wrote in an Instagram post.
Senior Marketing Director of Cheez-It, Erin Storm, feels that putting Snooki and RuPaul on the box covers was the right decision, as they have always given fans an “authentic portrayal of themselves,” much like the classic cheese cracker.
“It only makes sense for Cheez-It to celebrate the unfiltered genre filled with 100% real stars, just like our original, made with 100% real cheese snack,” he stated.
Fans wanting to get their hands on this exclusive Cheez-It box could begin pre-ordering their serving on Thursday, September 15th at CheezItHQ.com. Only 50 boxes were made available during pre-order, so obtaining a pack may not be feasible. Have no fear. The Cheddition boxes will be made available for purchase on Monday, September 19th, through Friday, September 23rd.
