Chrissy Teigen recently opened up about the life-saving abortion she experienced two years ago when she was pregnant with her son, Jack. She had previously called it a miscarriage.
After shedding some light on what she went through, the model received nasty comments on Twitter.
On Friday, she tweeted screenshots of some of the comments.
“I knew this would happen, and honestly, I’ve already seen you do your worst, so if this makes you feel better, great,” she wrote. “It doesn’t make me feel worse, though.”

She clarified that the comments were made under a Glamour Magazine thread, which she called “brutal.”
“Sorry, you lost your child but stop milking that story,” @rimlyne.ben.a wrote.
Another Twitter user called her a “drama queen,” while another told her that it’s “not our business.” Others referred to her story as clickbait, and some accused her of sharing it to stay relevant.
Some users defended the model by calling the comment section “toxic.”
Teigen said she came to the realization that she “hadn’t made sense of it that way” until Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court. She was feeling sorry for women faced with making difficult choices when her husband, John Legend, reminded her that it was something she had personally experienced.
“I told the world we had a miscarriage, the world agreed we had a miscarriage, all the headlines said it was a miscarriage,” she said.
The model said she was left speechless by the realization.
Teigen is currently pregnant with her fourth child.

Wow, seriously? She and her husband pose for the masses in the hospital bed holding their dead baby and tell us they had a miscarriage. We all support her and tell her how brave she is to share. Now a few years later we’re told it was NOT a miscarriage but a life-saving abortion. Why did she choose not to say that in the first place???? Why is it so important to her to share everything even when it isn’t true? And THEN feign outrage when people question her bizarre need for sympathy, or approval, or whatever? Chrissy, If you’re ashamed, or just want to keep your life private — I have no idea why you lied — you may consider keeping your mouth shut. Sometimes it is better to remain silent and let people think you’re an idiot rather than to speak and remove all doubt.
