Following the low sales prediction of DaBaby’s most recent album, “Baby on Baby 2,” the rapper seems to believe the industry has blackballed him.
Earlier this week, DJ Akademiks’Â shared his opinion on the situation and claimed that Ebro and Apple Music are to blame for his low sales.
DaBaby responded, “Not bad for da BlackBalled Baby,”
Ebro caught the shade and threw the whole tree back and insisted that if it was indeed his fault, why isn’t it performing well on Spotify?
“Apple Music is not the only platform. Based on this dummy’s logic, Da Baby should be doing well on the platform HE works for. Is it?” Ebro tweeted.
Over the past year, DaBaby has been embroiled in many controversies that could have contributed to him being blackballed.
As well all know, the rapper does not shy away from headlines, from his homophobic rant at Rolling Loud to recently telling the world that he f*cked Megan Thee Stallion.
According to reports, it was projected that Da Baby would sell only 16,000 units in the first week, a considerable difference from the 90k-100k in sales a few years ago.
