Miguel and his wife Nazanin Mandi have called it quits again after a brief reconciliation.
Mandi has filed for divorce from the “Adorn” singer in the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles County, citing irreconcilable differences. So far, the model only asks that she and Miguel’s assets be divided evenly, as detailed in their prenuptial agreement. Spousal support will be determined based on their prenup as well. Since the soon-to-be exes do not share any children, child support will not be an issue.
This is the second time that the couple has gone their separate ways. In September, Miguel announced they’d separated after nearly two decades together. The pair met in 2004 on the set of his music video for “Getcha Hands Up” and have been inseparable since. They married in November 2018. At the time of last year’s separation, Miguel did not give any reason why the couple was breaking up but revealed that they’d been living apart for a while.
However, the two seemed to be back on track in February, announcing that they’d reconciled. They shared photos on Instagram, appearing happier than ever. Sadly, that renewed marital bliss lasted only for a moment.
On Tuesday, Mandi shared a photo from a recent shoot with the cryptic caption, “I don’t want it all… I just want what’s meant for me.”
Neither Miguel nor Mandi has issued public statements about their breakup. Hopefully, they can find a way to come together once more.
