There are rumors that Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor could be gearing up for $1.5 billion fights.
The Michigan-born boxing champ and the Irish mixed martial artist could soon be getting in the ring together to fight it out again. As we know, seeing the two on our screens makes bags. Back in 2017, Mayweather and McGregor went to the square, pulling in 4.3 million pay-per-views and raking in a whopping $550 million, Yahoo! News reports.
The talks about the fighters going head-to-head two more times. reportedly first happened last month through Mayweather.
There are no confirmed details just yet, but Yahoo! News reports Mayweather’s team has been chatting with McGregor’s team about the potential matchup. However, some reports show the fights would count toward both of the fighters’ official records, and they could be set in Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia in 2023
