Another sexual misconduct lawsuit is pending against Deshaun Watson in Texas following a complaint that he forced a massage therapist to perform oral sex on him in a Houston hotel in 2020.
On Thursday, a Jane Doe licensed therapist filed the lawsuit in Harris County, alleging Watson contacted her for a massage on Instagram in December 2020.
The therapist, who was conducting her business from home during Covid, claims that she consented to meet Deshaun at The Houstonian, a nearby hotel.
During the massage, the therapist claims, “Watson removed his towel and offered to let her ‘get on top.’ Plaintiff refused to have sex with Watson. However, he was able to pressure her into oral sex with the Defendant.”
The quarterback allegedly paid the therapist $300, which is higher than her average hourly rate of $115.
According to the lawsuit, the woman said she’s “suffered from severe depression and anxiety” due to the interaction with Deshaun.
Anissah Nguyen, Jane Doe’s Attorney, told ESPN, “My client’s experience with Deshaun Watson follows a series of disturbingly similar encounters reported by more than 20 women who have filed suit against the NFL superstar.”
Nguyen said, “Like so many others, my client spent nearly two years struggling to cope with the shame and trauma from all that he has stolen from her and the daily pain that has become her reality.”
Deshaun is currently serving an 11-game suspension for the previous allegations, and the lawsuit is not part of the class action suits that Watson settled out of court.
