Police in Los Angeles are on the lookout for a man who stabbed a disabled man while inside a fast-food restaurant.
On Oct. 3, in Mar Vista, police responded to a stabbing that happened at a local restaurant located in the 12000 block of Venice Boulevard, the Los Angeles Police Department said. The incident took place at around 6:55 p.m., KTLA reports.
Surveillance footage captured the entire incident. In the video, viewers can see a man walking in, while holding a red mini skateboard. He then looks toward the cashier and then walks behind a man and stabs him twice. The man is then seen taking off running from the establishment. The victim is identified as an 82-year-old man who is disabled.
The victim suffered stab wounds to the neck and shoulder. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he is recovering from severe injuries; he was most recently listed as in stable condition.
The suspect has yet to be caught, but he was seen running toward Inglewood Avenue. KTLA reports police have described the suspect as between 20 and 30 years old, between 5’1 and 5’6 and about 130 pounds with a bald head. He also has a large tattoo on the back of his head and a small one next to his left eye, according to police.
