ASAP Bari is being sued for causing a car crash back in July.
According to TMZ, Bari was involved in a car crash in July with a guy named Jorge Baez. The legal documents states Bari was driving his Mercedes-Benz “carelessly, recklessly, and negligently” before colliding with Baez.
The vehicles were destroyed pretty badly and Baez’s lawyer says the accident left Baez with multiple injuries and medical bills.
Baez is currently suing Bari for $30,000 in damages.
Following the accident, Kanye West gifted Bari with a brand new Maybach SUV days after the collision.
Apparently this didn’t sit too well with Baez and his lawyer, who claims the gift was a way to entice Bari to move on from the accident.
“It was nice of Kanye West to buy A$AP Bari a new Maybach and enable him to move on like nothing happened. But something did happen and A$AP Bari must pay for his negligence,” Baez lawyer said.
