Later this month, the brand-new Amazon Music Live concert series will debut with 2 Chainz as the host.

On Oct. 27, Amazon Music Live will premiere with a performance from Lil Baby, who will perform live versions of tracks from It’s Only Me and past catalog favorites.
Each episode coincides with Thursday Night Football, which overlaps with the release of new music on Friday.

“Thursday Night Football is one of the most watched television events in America, and Amazon Music Live is an unprecedented moment for us to bring together the best of America’s sport and the biggest pillar of culture—music,” said Kirdis Postelle, global head of artist marketing for Amazon Music. “And for artists, AML represents a brand-new, massive opportunity for them to share their newest music with fans around the world.”

In the future, AML will feature Megan Thee Stallion on Nov. 3 and Kane Brown on Nov. 10.

“If you’re a music fan, Thursday night is the most important night of the week. For fans, there’s nothing like the excitement of waiting for midnight for your favorite artist to drop new music,” Postelle told Complex. “With Amazon Music Live, we wanted to create a moment that would bring fans from around the world together to experience new music from their favorite artists.”

After Thursday Night Football, Prime Video will stream the concert series live.

Fans can watch the concerts at home, and host 2 Chainz will also interview each featured artist.

“Every Thursday night, I’m bringing the biggest and the brightest stars in music to the Amazon Music Live stage in Los Angeles,” 2 Chainz said in a press release. “We have the people that are influencing the culture and have carved their own unique path in music, like Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, and Kane Brown. Amazon Music Live is the only place to be for the official Thursday turn-up!”
