Marvel’s Black Panther: WAKANDA Forever is one of the most anticipated films to release in 2022. With the premiere date around the corner, many are excited to see the stellar performances from the cast. But for those who can’t hold on any longer, here’s an exclusive teaser.
Black Panther wasn’t just a cultural phenomenon but also one of the best Marvel films in recent years. The film was loved by critics and fans alike, which is why a sequel seemed inevitable. However, the 2020 tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman put those plans on pause.
According to producers, the movie will honor his memory and incorporate his death into the sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, as T’Challa himself.
Many Black Panther cast members will be returning, including Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, and Winston Duke. Of course, Ryan Coogler will be behind the camera, creating magic again.
Fans are curious about who will take over as black panther, and although nothing has been confirmed, many believe it’ll be Shuri, T’Challa’s brilliant sister. Some fans also think it could possibly be Nakia, an international spy and girlf friend of T’Challa. But who knows?
The film will introduce a few new comic-book characters into the MCU, most prominently one recent fan-favorite and one who’s been around since Marvel’s Golden Age.
If you’re unsure of what to expect from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, here’s the official description from Marvel Studios:
“Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with Nakia and Everett Ross to forge a new path for their beloved kingdom.”
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is scheduled to have its world premiere in Hollywood on October 26, 2022, and will be released in the United States on November 11, 2022, as the final film in Phase Four of the MCU.
