Migos may not be getting back together anytime soon but Quavo and Takeoff are open to reconnecting for the right price.
During their sit down with the ‘Drink Champs’ podcast, Quavo and Takeoff were asked about the possibility of doing a VERZUZ battle featuring Offset. While the group’s future is currently uncertain, the ‘Unc & Phew’ duo seemingly would put their differences aside and reunite for one night.
“We can’t do a Migos reunion for one Verzuz? That’s not gonna happen?” the show’s host N.O.R.E. asked.
Takeoff is leaving the door open for the opportunity and says, “If the check is right.”
Later in the interview, Quavo confirms that it wasn’t a difficult transition to go from a three-man group to a duo. He added that Offset was originally incarcerated when Migos was initially formed.
“That’s how we started,” he said. “He was locked up when we came in. We kept his name alive, and just made sure we let the people know there were three.”
The duo was also to choose between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. An awkward laughter followed the question and Quavo responded, “I’ll say Nicki.”
Takeoff then chimed in agreeing the Quavo’s answer, “I was going to say the same thing.”
Their response was a bit shocking to fans seeing as Cardi is the wife of their group’s third member, Offset.
