Ellen DeGeneres New Documentary Show Premieres on YouTube Channel [Video]

Ellen DeGeneres just couldn’t stay from the camera for too long. The comedian just announced that she would return to a screen, Youtube, with the DeGeneres channel documenting her newest hobbies since her retirement.

The new Youtube series, About Time for Yourself… with Ellen, is set to premiere on Saturday, October 22, with the first episode.

The press release for the series says, “After stepping out of the spotlight of her iconic talk show, Ellen is trying something bold and new — being unemployed.”

“In the wake of the Great Resignation, she’s reconnecting with her audience who may also have more time on their hands, and if not, could certainly use some,” the release continues. “In this new series shot at her home, Ellen shares her own attempts to try new things and make a little me time in her own very Ellen way.”

Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show ended in May after rumors of a toxic work environment circulated in the media leaving the 64-year-old with plenty of free time.

In a promotional video for the new series, the former talk show host said, “Lately, I’ve been taking some time just for myself, away from the cameras, and I’ve been having such a great time, I thought I would share some of what I’ve been doing with you.”
