Cardi B Responds To Madonna “Getting Slick At The Mouth” In Her Recent Statement About Paving The Way For Female Artists

Cardi B fires back at Madonna and accuses her of “getting slick at the mouth” after her recent Instagram post.

Madonna recently reflected on the criticism she faced after releasing her controversial S.E.X book 30 years ago.

“I was called a whore, a witch, a heretic and the devil,” Madonna wrote. “Now Cardi B can sing about her WAP. Kim Kardashian can grace the cover of any magazine with her naked a** and Miley Cyrus can come in like a wrecking ball. You’re welcome b*tches……🤡”

Cardi found Madonna’s statement to be disrespectful and took to Twitter to address the icon.

“I literally payed this woman homage so many times cause I grew up listening to her …she can make her point without putting clown emojis and getting slick out the mouth,” Cardi tweeted. “These icons really become disappointments once u make it in the industry that’s why I keep to myself.”

The rapper also posted an article from an interview she did, where she calls Madonna “her real life idol.”

“I performed ‘Material Girl’ freshman year in high school, listen to her on all my photo shoots to have super confidence and always mentioned her in my interviews,” she said at the time. “The best part about it is she was everything I thought she would be a liberal kick ass feminist b*tch.”

Madonna fans came to her defense and claims Cardi misinterpreted the message. However, Cardi wasn’t having it.
