On Monday, a shooter opened fire at a St. Lous High School, leaving two dead and injuring several others.
Police have identified the shooter as 19-year-old Orlando Harris, who had graduated from Central Visual & Performing Arts High last year.
Harris was ID’d shortly after St. Louis Metropolitan Police shot and killed him just hours after the tragedy at the school.
According to local reports, it is uncertain if he had any direct connection to any of the victims.
Police Commissioner Michael Sack said Harris had enough ammunition to kill hundreds of people.
“The individual had almost a dozen 30-round … high-capacity magazines on him. That’s a whole lot of victims there,” he said.
His victim, Alexis Bell, a 16-year-old student, was pronounced dead at the scene, while Jean Kuczk, a 61-year-old PE teacher, died at the hospital.
