Earlier this month, Delonte West was arrested for trespassing in Virginia.
The Fairfax County Police Dept. was alerted to a nearby parking lot on October 15 after witnesses allegedly noticed the former NBA star trespassing in a vehicle.
Delonte West was reportedly near the parking lot when police arrived at the scene, and when they tried to arrest him, they claimed he became confrontational.
An FCPD official said that although West fled, he was found not far from where he had taken off. He eventually ended up in police custody.
West was subsequently charged with four criminal offenses related to the incident, including car trespassing, entering a vehicle, fleeing law enforcement, and being intoxicated in public.
According to jail records, he was released the following day.
Earlier this year, fans were happy to see West received a tryout with the BIG3 and secured employment with a flooring manufacturer in June.
At the beginning of October, Mark Cuban told TMZ that he was aware that things weren’t “going smoothly” with West.
