Takeoff’s Funeral to Be Held Friday at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena

As friends and family still mourn the death of one-third of Migos, Takeoff, his funeral plans have been announced.

Takeoff’s homecoming will be on Friday, November 11, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

The venue holds around 20,000 people and is home to the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks basketball team.

TMZ reports that Rev. Jesse Curney III will officiate the service, which reportedly begins at 1:00 pm.

Rev Churney said in a statement, ” I was really sad to hear the news. Kirshnik has been a faithful member since he was ten years old. He and his family were active and avid supporters of the church and the community as a whole.”

As previously reported, Takeoff was fatally shot in Houston, Texas, on November 1.

Police are still investigating the rapper’s murder.  Currently, no arrests have been made.
