Just in time for hoodie season, Dapper Dan and GAP have teamed up again for their “DAP GAP” collection.
The prolific Harlem-based fashion designer has unleashed a new set of colorways presented in winter-inspired prints. Customers can choose from three variations of flannel, available in red and navy, dark green and navy, or yellow and navy. A camel color herringbone patterned sweatshirt is the fourth color offering in the line.
This is the second time this year that the New York fashion influencer has released a line of hoodies with the San Francisco-based retailer. In August, the “DAP GAP” capsule sported summer-inspired colorways such as yellow, light blue, and a popular salmon hue, popularly worn by Dan himself.
Dan incorporated a special touch to the hoodies for the newest drop, adding his beloved hometown of “Harlem” in script font under the “DAP” logo. As for the overall make of the hoodie, they will stick to the standard GAP model featuring the kangaroo pouch in front and drawstrings around the neck for snug warmth during those chilly winter days.
After years of styling some of hip-hop’s biggest stars, Dapper Dan continues to receive his flowers. Aside from his deal with GAP, Dapper Dan is also a PUMA Brand Partner and previously worked with Gucci.
Anyone wanting to get their hands on the new GAP x Dapper Dan hoodie pieces can do so starting on November 29th during the pre-launch at Gap’s Harlem store. On November 30th, the collection will be available globally on the GAP website, priced at $128.
